Pfeiffer Winery Team

Robin and Danuta Pfeiffer

Owners & Winemakers

Robin grew up on the land that is now Pfeiffer Vineyards & Winery. His family raised sheep and chickens for 30 years and lived in a small Quonset house where the winery parking lot is now. He acquired 2 Master Degrees, in Foreign Language Studies and Counseling. He lived in Peru, Mexico and Chile and taught at the University of San Marcos in Lima. He was also a Spanish teacher for 33 years. Robin is one of the early pioneers in the state wine industry having planted his 70-acre vineyard on the south facing slope of the property in 1984. He also planted a sustainable, award-winning forest on the north-facing slope.

Danuta was a ski instructor, swim instructor, scuba diver, sky diver, and a long distance bicycle rider. Her first book, Watersafe Your Baby in One Week, was the first definitive book on teaching water survival to infants. Graduating from the University of Colorado, and through various high-profile TV and radio jobs in San Diego, she became the co-host on the international television show, The 700 Club with Pat Robertson. Disillusioned, she retreated to her progressive roots, wrote an award-winning book, Chiseled, and now makes wine, loves and laughs with Robin, the love of her life.

Theodore is a Corvallis native and received his bachelor’s degree in enology and viticulture from Oregon State University. When he’s not assisting our wine maker at Pfeiffer, he is an avid photographer and mixologist with a passion for cooking. Theodore was driven to a career in wine because of his deep appreciation for the uniqueness and complexity of wine.  He enjoys sipping a glass of his favorite Oregon Pinot Noir while playing Eve online.

Vanessa Sitowski

General Manager

Vanessa joined the Pfeiffer family back in 2013. After 7 years (and many, many tears), she decided to follow a different career path. Well, that didn’t last long ~ she has returned to Pfeiffer Winery, where her heart and soul belongs. Vanessa met and married her husband, Justis right here at Pfeiffer Winery back in 2015 (Robin and Danuta married us!) When she isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, kids and fur babies, Romeo and Juliette. She and her husband have also acquired a passion for fishkeeping ~ they currently have 9 fish tanks.  She loves the new Pfeiffer Brut!

Abbey Winter

Tasting Room Associate

Abbey is a former pharmacy student and worked in the medical field before she joined the Pfeiffer team.  She loves middle eastern food, going to the ocean, and listening to music.  With pure luck, all of those things at once is perfection! She decided to visit her first love which is to work at an invigorating and passionate winery.  Abbey is dedicated to creating beautiful tasting experiences. Every day is a joy working at Pfeiffer Winery, and she wouldn’t want to be anywhere else!

Jazmin Murphy

Tasting Room Associate

Jazmin joined the Pfeiffer team in January of 2023. Originally from Seattle, she found a love for wine after joining the wine club here at Pfeiffer! Jazmin previously worked as an Advanced Aesthetician and dreams of running her own MedSpa one day.  In her free time, you can find her reading, watching a crime documentary, and playing with her mini golden doodle, Reign.  Jazmin’s favorite Pfeiffer wine is the Tango Red Blend!

Noah Band

Tasting Room Associate

Noah grew up in Park City, Utah.  After finishing high school at a military academy, Noah took some time to alternate between work and travel, where he first found his passion for wine.  Noah moved to Oregon a few years later due to his love of the landscape and its wine industry.  When he’s not out at a concert, hiking, or at the theater, Noah likes to enjoy a glass of Blue Dot Reserve Pinot Noir. Be sure to say “hi” during your next visit!
